I stopped by here around 10am Sunday, the lady was displaying the rice cakes packed ones. I was browsing and picked one pack of rainbow rice cake and she looked me like scanning. And I didn’t know I am supposed to pay there so I just turned my body and she yelled that You should pay here! I paid there and she just gave me the receipt without saying thank you. Also her voice was sounded very mad when she told me the price. I like your rice cakes and quality but I hate that lady’s attitude. Because after me, another Korean customer came and she smiled and say hello. She didn’t do that to me! Also she knows how to speak Korean lol. I am Korean and she yelled me in English. I will stop by other locations next time. Hire someone who is kind and educated who knows what is customer service!

This is hands down the best (in terms of quality, variety, and “authenticity”) tteok (Korean rice cake) shop that I’ve seen outside Korea…folks in the atlanta area are lucky! They make the rice cakes fresh every morning and you have to eat them the same day. Totally worth the price!

The BEST rice cake spot in all of Atlanta! Trust me, I have sampled many a rice cake pack from pretty much all the Korean supermarkets in the area (Mega Mart, H-Mart, Assi, you name it), and Sweet Rice is the best, hands down. They regularly sell out if you come too late on the afternoon and all the Korean aunties and uncles have beat you to the best ones, so be sure to come early in the morning for the best selection. The mugwort tastes very fresh in the green rice cakes; sometimes I feel like other rice cake providers are just relying mainly on food coloring rather than fresh mugwort itself. The honey rice cakes (small round ones) are to die for! Although just the plain selection is already VERY good. Yum. I also really enjoy the beverages here. They have a wide selection of teas. This is one of my favorite spots to work from in Duluth. Many other cafes are too hip and crowded; this spot is quiet and the workers leave you to do your own thing, which I really appreciate. Not to mention the place is very spacious for you to spread out and take a call if you need it. Good wi-fi. Whenever I have a craving for rice cakes and friendly, speedy service, I come here!

Updates Very poor customer service. They close at 6. I arrived briefly before 4:30, the staff (mid age woman) asked us if we are gonna dine in, I said yes and she reminded us that they close at 6. Did she just want us to leave? While placing an order, this woman was busy talking to her son over the phone and my orders got delayed. I ordered Ssang hwa tang and it was such a waste of money. It was just brown sweetened water. It didn't taste like what it should taste like. Also, we were the only guests in the store at the time. She said my drink was ready and when I showed up at the counter, she didn't even start making my drink. Is she kidding me? ______ Their rice cakes are great. But they can definitely invest more on their tea menu.

Nice cafe, decent coffee, the whole cafe was clean and spacious, bathroom was clean, and staff was friendly. Parking lot seems spacious as well. The rice cakes were very fresh and there were a lot of variety, which is awesome , especially for people who are curious about traditional Korean rice cakes! The rice cakes were all freshly made in the morning and there were clock signs to indicate when the goodies were made! Afterward I also got some more to bring home to sample but unfortunately some of them went bad the next day cuz I didn't put them in the refrigerator overnight (refrigeration often time alters the texture of rice cakes), so be careful not to get too many!
